The 5th International Conference on Green Chemical Engineering and Technology (5th GCET) 2021
“Green Chemical Engineering Technologies for Sustainable Smart Societies”
5th International Conference on Green Chemical Engineering and Technology (5th GCET) 2021 is UniKL’s own homegrown conference. Participants from universities, industry, governmental and non-governmental organizations and venture capital providers will present their views on policy and recent research and application in areas related to chemical engineering and technology. In this international conference, we aim to provide an overview of the scientific, technical, economic, and environmental issues in green economy in order push to the green based economy and to present new developments. It also provides a forum for leading political, corporate, academic and financial people to discuss recent developments and set up collaborations. This one (1) day online/virtual conference will consist of keynote lectures and oral presentations by international experts. We also expect to welcome about 100 international participants from over 10 countries.
Objectives
The objectives of GCET 2021 are as follows:
To strengthen UniKL’s We4Asia aspiration to become one of the top universities in Asia by enriching academic experience.
To promote UniKL as a potential institute for pursuing study in post graduate levels especially in Chemical Engineering and Technology.
To enhance UniKL’s existing positive image as an academic institute that actively collaborate with industry, particularly in area of Green Chemical Engineering.
To enhance collaboration and sharing among researchers of UniKL with international and local participants.

Conference Highlights
The organizers would like to invite all academics, scientists, researchers, and postgraduate students to present papers either oral or poster on any topics that listed in the Conference Topics. The abstract must be uploaded together with the online registration form, not later than 8 December 2021 or email to gcet2021abstract@gmail.com by stating “GCET2021 – Abstract Submission.
Full paper must be submitted not later than 15 December 2021. All submitted papers will be reviewed and considered to be published in AIP Conference Proceedings, Key Engineering Materials and Materials Science Forum ; a Scopus Q4 index publications.
